TENEDLE Dimitri Niccolai

Dimitri Niccolai better known as Tenedle is a Composer, Producer, Performer, Sound Designer and Visual/Multimedia Artist. Born in Florence (Italy) living in The Netherlands (Haarlem).
Distinguished by a mix of songwriting, electronic music, themes from the ‘imaginary’, Tenedle’s projects have led the press to call him “a visionary songwriter” and his songs to be described as “small films”. Tenedle is a contemporary songwriter and his music is a personal universe.
Over the years he has participated in several Prizes gaining recognition both in Italy and in the Netherlands. Tenedle presents his live performances based on electronic sound and visuals with some acoustic moments and theatrical hints. Alone or with guest musicians, in the years, Tenedle performed in Italy, The Netherlands, United Kingdom, Spain, Belgium, Germany, France and Luxemburg.

Tenedle works as painter, Digital Artist, Videomaker and Visual Artist. The Most of his creations over the years were made to complete and "animate" the concepts of his music works, or his performances. Many kind of media were experimented in time, generati a world of puppets, paintings, and misteriosa objects.
His influences from film and visual art came from Expressionism to Abstract, from Surrealism with a touch of Naive-Primitive style.

Last Exhibition and relevant works are the world poster exhibition NoWeapon.org (Venice, Genova,Amsterdam). In Haarlem, this last exhibition "Stellar" was at The "SintJansstraat33" March-April 2024.
